BarCamp Berlin 3 – last track
18. OktIts 17.50 and I feel a bit drained. The Session about Web 2.0 & Security just ends and now we hang around at the lounge area and having a coool beer
. I just begin searching for the company who offers this pretty cool beanbags (in german: “Sitzsäcke”). It would be a cool idea for our agency lounge area. (note to myself: bring it up at office next week). Ah, here’s a label… www.crowncrow.com sells it.
Anyway, the session just ends was very interesting. The presenter was a colleague of the Norton Company and presents very impressive how easy someone could hack (damn! Why does my iPhone do not know the word “hack”? It always recommends “back”! I have to type it three times, tss…) Profiles of communities like myspace or StudiVZ. It was no really great news but I never heard it so explicitly before.
Now, the barcamp event is going on with an aftershow party at “Sankt Oberholz”.
BarCamp Berlin 3 – impressions
18. OktIts pretty cool at the lobby of “Deutsche Telekom Repräsentanzgebäude” in the middle of Berlin. A really great chillout area with smooth lounge music in the air, many voices around me and it seems everbody is perfectly satisfied. I can’t explain exactly but the atmosphere at barcamps is very special. It’s a mix of smoothness, freedom, improvement and the ambition of everybody to learn a lot and to socialize with someone.

BarCamp Berlin 3 – 2nd track
18. OktThe second track ends. It was difficult to came to a decision. But it’s normal for an authentic barcamp, I guess.
First I visited the session about creating a screencast. It was interesting to listen about the recommenditions for hard- and software. There is no reason for buying a microphone which is cheaper than around 30,- EUR (beginner-level). Many software exists in free distribution like Creative Commons or GNU. By the way: the named tip for Mac users is “screenflow”. When I come home I am going to have a look of it. There’s no chance to install at the iPhone.
The other session I visited was “charts 2.0″ as said. Jonathan presents his idea to create a plattform which summarize plattforms like last.fm, myspace, you tube or something like that if users are searching for musicians.
The session was recorded (like many other sessions) by one of the atandees. I hope the record will be publish. Maybe in the barcamp-wiki.
So, I need to stop writing here cause the next track starts in a few minutes. Have a look at http://live.barcampberlin3.org
BarCamp Berlin 3 – some pictures
18. OktHere are some pictures of the building especially of the lobby
First: the very big and impressive screen
Second: working people (maybe they pretend
)
Third: the big screen from behind
BarCamp Berlin 3 – filling up the session slots / 1st slot
18. OktThe BarCamp begins.
At first I have to switch the the language of my iPhone keyboard cause the prefered language of this barcamp in Berlin is english.
Now the session presentation starts. My first impression is many people want to talk about interesting things which I never heard about, especialy in face of each barcamps I visited before.
For any external “atandees” I recommend http://live.barcampberlin3.com
Now I’ll choose my slots.
Update
The first slot starts at 11.15 and my choose is a session about “introducing in iPhone develoment”. It’s not reall my focus of iPhone using but I already heard a lot about iphone development at some Podcasts (e.g. Chaosradio Express) and now it’s really interesting to have a look about the developer interface.
…
OK… It was a short session. We had a look at the developer interface, some atendees asked questions I don’t understand or rather I couldn’t follow the content
Update 2
My second choose hasn’t it’s focus in technical things. It will be a sesion called “charts 2.0″ by Jonathan Imme
